A Night at Focus Factory Studio, Victoria’s Creative Community at Its Best

March 29, 2026

Last night I had the chance to attend an open studio event at Focus Factory, and honestly… it was one of those nights that reminds you why you love this industry.

Roman opened the doors to his studio and welcomed in photographers from across Victoria’s fashion scene. The space itself is incredible, clean, versatile, and clearly built with creators in mind. It’s always inspiring to see someone invest in the local creative community like that.

Maria was an amazing host throughout the evening, making sure everyone felt comfortable and connected. That kind of energy matters more than people think, and it really set the tone for the night.

I had the opportunity to shoot with several fantastic models, including Rina, Maria, Miranda, Viktoriia, and Julia. Each of them brought something unique to the camera, and it made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. These kinds of collaborative environments are where some of the best, most natural images happen.

Beyond the shooting, one of the highlights for me was reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new photographers. There’s something powerful about getting everyone in the same room, sharing ideas, energy, and creativity. Victoria has a strong and supportive fashion photography community, and nights like this prove it.

Final Thoughts

Big thanks again to Roman for hosting, Maria for creating such a welcoming atmosphere, and all the models and creatives who made the night what it was.

If this is the kind of energy Focus Factory is bringing to the city, I’m excited to see what comes next.
