I had a fabulous shoot with Stephanie an international model/Instagrammer even with the weather turning cold and rainy we still were able to get some amazing photos for her portfolio. She braved winds, cold and plenty of rain and I was super impressed with how tough she was….I was cold. She arrived with her hair and makeup done and I must say the make up was out of this world amazing. Just wow. I’ll find out who the makeup artist was and link it below because they did an exemplary design…so original.
Three tips for a model portfolio Photo Shoot
- Makeup – If need be hire a make up professional like Stephanie did for her shoot but make sure it’s appropriate for the shoot.
- Hair – Keep it simple, also finger nails clear coat or thin French tipped…no jewelry unless it’s discussed ahead of time. In this example Stephanie chose a piece that was complimentary to the outfit and helped pull it all together
- Choose a dress that photographs well. Stay away from patterns and florals and stick with solids.
