A remarkable photo shoot with Shylo yesterday.
We met up at the coffee shop and once we discussed the style of shoot she was looking to do we started right away!
Shylo was so easy to work with, listened to direction well and really utilized the way that I shoot. I don’t like to “pose” models but rather help by using emotion. I encourage models to feel what they want to portray to the camera and then to share that feeling. I think we got caught up in shooting because before we knew it we had been shooting for over 90mins (usually test shoots are 60mins). We ended up with over 600 photos on the SD Card 🙂
This is the first Behind the Scenes Video with me in it and I was super happy to try it out. After watching so many videos from super professional photographers like Joe Edelman, Jason Lanier and Manny Ortiz there’s a common theme or thread shared by all and that is you need to get out there and shoot. With that in mind I have decided to photograph 100 models this year. Come with me as I attempt this goal and hopefully watch as my photography improves. A special thank you to the dozens of models I have already photographed these past few weeks and look forward to shooting with you soon.
Camera Equipment Used

I do hope you enjoy the video and if the response is positive will continue to do some behind the scenes videos of my model photo shoots.
