Today I talk about how to photograph a model at noon when the sun is at it’s highest. I have found that when I’m shooting without an assistant and I can’t use reflectors or scrims that shooting in the shade of a tree and ensuring the background isn’t too light can work…it works really well if you can time it for a cloud to go in front of the sun 🙂
Thank you so much to Melissa @drmelissawest for taking the time to be photographed and filmed for her yoga channel and membership community and for posing as a yoga model for today’s photos….she’s the hardest working person I know and super super smart 🙂
Equipment I used on the set
- Sony A6000
- Sony NEX VG20
- Sony 50mm 1.8
- Sigma 30mm 1.4
I do hope you enjoy the video and if the response is positive will continue to do some behind the scenes videos of my model photo shoots.
