Photo shoot for Victoria Fashion Week

Al Smith one of the top photographers in Victoria invited me to assist him on a shoot in the Penthouse rooms of the Double Tree Hilton. It was a shoot showing off some of the dresses by Michal Negrin ahead of this weekend’s fashion show. We arrived at the hotel with lots of time to check out the location that we would be shooting and brought up his lighting equipment. We also met up with another awesome assistant, Lorne Robert you may remember him from a shoot we did with him and his Jeep and dog in the Spring. I arrived and was greeted by a lovely model Deanna. She was amazing, organized and super helpful with the shoot. Al and I setup and enjoyed the panoramic views from the top floor. After the makeup (Elate Cosmentics), was done by Alex of Anolmaly Make up, the models came into the suite for the shoot. I helped Al and after he was done I invited the models for some quick shots on the balcony. Super grateful that they came out and let me do some practice shots with the views in the background. Also very grateful to Al for bringing me in to assist. The other models I’ve shot with before, Hannah, Kelsey and Sapphire were amazing as usual.
