Perhaps you’ll remember Tanya from previous shoots. We shot once at Government House and downtown. Usually with inclement weather but today it was blue skies, warm temperatures and almost no wind to contend with. Tanya was lovely to work with as always, bringing with her a fun hat and special nautical outfit for our shoot at Oak Bay Marina. Special thank you to Mike who opened up his lovely boat to shoot. The boat really helped with creating some interesting stories in the photos we took. On the way out Tanya confided in me a small fear of seals so I took the opportunity to help her see how cute and dog like the seals are…you can feed seals as they’re calm and not aggressive but I wouldn’t feed a Sea Lion.
