What a treat to get to shoot with models Julia and Tanya again and this time we did it to showcase some of the new line from Ola Dubois. I bet up with the models at just at the Ola Dubois studio here in Victoria and decided to go for three location shoots. Quick and simple natural light shoots but with different backgrounds. We did our first shoot at Beacon Hill Park where we found a magical row of trees for the models to pose under. Then we popped by St. Anne’s Academy and took some shots on the tree lined entrance, I love that walk it reminds me France. The last location I chose an abandoned lot in downtown Victoria to shoot at as I wanted to juxtapose the beauty of the models and the dresses with the rough and neutral background of a construction lot. Many thanks to Mat for assisting. The shots I’m able to get are vastly improved by having an assistant on the set.
