I popped by Clover Point here in Victoria British Columbia to see the wind’s effect on the water and saw a KiteSurfer getting ready to go. I grabbed my camera and took some video of his kitesurfing land start / takeoff and stuck around to film some of the acrobatic kitting he was able to do. I left my card with his friend Quentin and the surfer contacted me to let me know that his name was Jacob and was interested in seeing the shots I took. I’m sure he’ll post more videos of himself skysurfing, showing off more of his kitesurfing tricks so make sure you follow him on Instagram and next time there’s a storm I’ll be sure to pop by and catch some more shots.
